Maleai Youths in Big Role.
Youths from Maleai village play a big role in community activities, especially during celebrating their feast day the solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Involving these young people is good for our society as research shows it improves civic participation, health, well-being, social inclusion, etc.
They are there not just for the purpose of the program but directly involving them build a culture of intergenerational cooperation, trust, and respect.
Young people who are valued as active contributors to a community are more likely to serve their area or become local leaders.
Also addressing the spiritual development of young people has the potential to strengthen youth work and its outcomes. It matters because it is an intrinsic part of being human and because young people themselves view it as important.
